Our annual Fulshie Fun Run takes place in the spring. Runners take part in either our 5K event or our 2.5K where entrants can choose to run or walk the route. The route trails the Fulshie Woodland with each runner receiving a Fulshie Fun Run medal for taking part.

In 2023, the Ian Currie Memorial Shield was awarded for the first time in memory of our late trustee Ian, who was instrumental in creating the Fulshie Fun Run​.  The Memorial Shield is displayed within our Hub and will be presented each year in 'Special Recognition for Outstanding Effort'.  ​

More recently, our medals and shields have been created by Armadale Shed, supporting local charity and our wider community.

Foulshiels Wood is the site of the former Foulshiels Colliery and is managed and maintained by the Woodland Trust.
